Born and raised in the heart of the Altai Mountains, Daurenbek's life is a testament to the beauty and resilience of Western Mongolia. Growing up surrounded by the untamed wilderness, he developed a profound respect for the delicate balance between nature and the nomadic communities that call it home.
With a background in environmental conservation and years of experience leading expeditions into the most remote corners of the Altai, Daurenbek founded BREATHE ALTAI CAMP with a simple mission: to share his homeland with the world, responsibly.
Every journey he leads is more than a tour — it's an invitation to disconnect from the modern world and reconnect with something deeper. Daurenbek is fluent in Kazakh, Mongolian, and English, and holds certifications in wilderness first aid and mountain safety.
